It needs a special authorization for your Evernote account, because it clips directly to the account, through the API. WebClipper is a browser extension (a small, stand alone program) available on desktop systems. You may think you have Chrome, in fact you have a Chrome skin over a Safari browser. On iOS all browsers need to use the Apple WebKit engine. There is no web clipper on iPads, and there is no Chrome browser on iPads either. It's not like I suddenly added a bunch of new devices, and whatever the limit is, I've long surpassed it if the # of connected devices was the issue, you'd think it would have happened long ago.Īny ideas how to fix this "session required" error on my iPad Chrome web clipper, please? I don't necessarily see how or why the # of devices would be a problem because I've long had 10-15 devices on there just older devices I forgot to revoke from my EverNote account.

I do have EverNote Premium / Professional (in the web interface one place says "Premium" but "Acct Summary" says "Professional".) :-/ I revoked access to many and am now at 9 devices on my account. Forgot to count / screenshot before I started. I checked my list of authorized devices / applications and I had about 15+, roughly. I did some research and one of the suggestions that made sense was that this might be caused by having too many devices authorized in your EverNote account. As titled, suddenly I started getting the error "Session Required" when I try to clip an article using Chrome brpwser on iPadOS on one of my iPads.
